Peer Advisory Council
The Peer Advisory Council (PAC) represents a joint project comprising dedicated representatives from the On the Front Lines Community Alliance, who have lived experience with substance use disorder or mental illness. As council members, they contribute their unique gifts in service to the organization's mission by leveraging our professional expertise, diverse knowledge of constituent perspectives, and connections to local resources, colleagues, and peers.
Our mission is to ensure addiction response efforts are relevant, person-centered, and informed by the lived experience of those affected by addiction, thereby striving to make meaningful change.

Randall Carmack
I have been working in the SUD and MH field for over 10 years. In that time, I have found that one of the most impactful roles is as a Peer Supporter. Working in an Outreach capacity, I have built meaningful relationships with peer professionals and been able to identify with those who still struggle with active use. Taking the resources learned, the personal experiences of others, and my added education, I advocate advancing policies that are impacting people in recovery and those looking for their pathway to recovery. Giving back to our communities has brought me to a position of living a fulfilled life and helping others. When recovery is a priority, recovery becomes probable, not just possible.
